The Sports Rehab Clinic specialises in Physiotherapy, Sports Rehabilitation and Soft Tissue Therapy. We aim to deliver a professional, personal and planned treatment in order to provide a fitter, healthier you whether it is for sports training, competition or everyday life.

Maria Goriup
MSc, HCPC, MCSP
Speciality: Physiotherapy, Sports Rehabilitation, Strength and Conditioning, Soft Tissue Therapy, Medical Acupuncture
Maria is a Physiotherapist working within high performance sport and clinical settings. She currently supports the British Fencing team, England Badminton team and GB Snowsports teams at home and abroad. Maria started her academic studies at Loughborough University where she found a passion for high performance sport, following this through she more recently supported athletes at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and Paralympics. She continued to follow her passion and subsequently studied at Middlesex University and Brunel University to become qualified in Sports Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy respectively.
Maria currently works with elite athletes, young athletes and recreational athletes with various sporting backgrounds, her main specialities are in soft tissue therapy and strength and conditioning. Maria also currently teaches at the University of East London on the BSc Sports Therapy course. Maria is a keen sports person with passions for hockey, surfing, CrossFit and weight training.

Toby is a Physiotherapist who has gained a breadth of experiencing working within both the public health and private sectors. Upon graduating from Brunel University to earn his MSc (Pre-Reg) in Physiotherapy, he has worked across all key specialities within the NHS, with the last two years dedicated to a senior role in a community musculoskeletal setting. Alongside this he has worked in a variety of private clinical settings from sports to corporate wellness.
Toby now shares his time running a NHS occupational health service and supporting various private and sport clinics including the Sports Rehab Clinic. He has a breadth of experience working with elite athletes and weekend warriors to the elderly in the community. In his spare time you can find Toby training in the gym, hiking in the mountains or finding the next outdoor activity to try.
